Diabetes & Diabetic Neuropathy
Diabetes, or more specifically named diabetes mellitus, is a metabolic condition in which the body has high blood sugar levels. This occurs as a result of the body being unable to produce enough insulin or the body being unable to adequately use the insulin it does produce. Diabetic neuropathy is the most common complication that can arise from diabetes. It is nerve damage that occurs over time from high blood sugar levels. There are several different types of diabetic neuropathies.
