Vulvodynia
Vulvodynia is a chronic pain disorder of the vulva, when there is no other reason for vulvar pain.
The vulva is the external part of a female genitalia. It includes the mons pubis, prepuce or the hood of the clitoris, the opening of the urethra, the vestibule surrounding the opening to the vagina, the labia majora and labia minora, the fourchette, and all the way down to the perineum ending at the anus. The pain can be described as burning, stinging, itchiness, or rawness.
